Creating a company logo and brand label takes a lot of mind bending. To me a logo and a brand label should have personal significance.

I already had a bottle label idea, but the O’Kahan LLC logo didn’t come together until my trip to Oaxaca, Mexico.

There were two particular images I kept seeing around Oaxaca: The heart of the Agave (The Pina) with a crown of agave leaves (penca) and the other image was the Sacred Heart.

I couldn’t help but see the uncanny similarities between these two images and the Irish Claddagh ring.

I knew right then by combining the three images that O’Kahan LLC now had a logo idea but dialing it in to make it work would be the hard part. When I returned from Oaxaca, I drew up the concept and started working on it.

From ideas, to sketches, to AI renderings, and finally Photoshop, the logo was born.
